Losi and the JRX2 Gil Losi Jr. and his father "Pops" started Team Losi selling handmade aftermarket parts and accessories for radio control modeling at their local skatepark snack bar, and built their business into a hobby store. Over the next ten years, they purchased the famous, "Ranch Pit Shop" and dedicated three years to developing their first race-ready RC vehicle: the now legendary JRX2. The original JRX2, with its graphite chassis and 5-link rear suspension, pushed the boundaries of what a competitive RC race car should be at the time and is now considered one of the most innovative cars of all time.

The new Mini JRX2 combines nostalgia with a touch of the present. This extremely scaled-down version of the JRX2 is designed to pay homage to the original JRX2.
