Scania 8x4/4 4-axle truck 1:14 RC kit including bearing set

The Tamiya novelty of the year 2023 - The new Scania 8x4/4 truck in 1:14 scale as a kit. Shown for the first time at the Nuremberg Toy Fair in February 2023.

This remote controlled semi-truck is modeled after the Scania 770 S 8x4/4. The heavy-duty Scania 770 S is the latest tractor in the heaviest class to join the NEXT GENERATION SCANIA series in 2020. The current S-series, which this model is based on, has a V8 turbo engine with an output of 770 hp. The 8x4/4 means dual-axle 4-wheel drive in the rear and dual-axle 4-wheel steering in the front.

• R/C model kit in scale 1/14. length: 610mm, width: 196mm, height: 320mm (without side mirrors, and antenna).
• The model realistically represents the Scania 770 S 8x4/4, which uses a chassis with numerous metal parts.
• The cab authentically reproduced by precise injection molding and its rear with detailed representations of auxiliary machine tower, fuel tank and air tank give it a heavy appearance.
• Like the real vehicle, the model has dual rear axle drive and dual front axle steering. The engine and transmission are located in the front on a metal ladder frame.
• The extremely realistic suspension with metal leaf springs has a lift axle. It can be moved up and down by hand on the second axle just like the real mechanism.
• The mountable 3-speed transmission allows gear changes via the separately available transmitter.
• The multifunction control unit (item 56523: MFC-03, sold separately) allows control of lights, sound and vibration.
• Interior parts such as dashboard and seats in modern design are included and can be installed together with the multifunction control unit.
• Includes 1:14 scale driver figure, cab decals and metal transfers to decorate the body.
