Mercedes Benz Arocs 3348 3-axle rear tipper 1/14 truck

Ready for the construction site? TAMIYA presents the first dump truck in the Mercedes-Benz Arocs 3348 version! The dump body is made of a sturdy ABS part and has a movable and automatically unlocking tailgate. The payload is max. 10Kg and the dump body can be tilted by radio via the optionally available ACU-01 spindle drive unit.

The distinctive design of the new Arocs is as unusual as the truck as a whole. For example, the look specially developed for construction vehicles features a radiator grille in the so-called digger tooth look, which is intended to convey the message: "Bite through it and grab it". In keeping with the robust appearance, special protective grilles for the lighting system are fitted to the bumper.

The kit model, which is 576 mm long and weighs around 3.5 kg, can be used to put together some impressive convoys. Under the forward tilting cab you will find the proven and robust TAMIYA truck technology. A new Mighty-Tuned 35T electric motor delivers power to the two rear axles via a shiftable 3-speed transmission. A detailed aluminum ladder frame gives the model the necessary stability and flexibility. A special additional frame was installed for the body, which makes the model particularly stable. A towing hitch (e.g. Carson 500907182) can be attached to the rear part of the frame to pull trailers.

With the optionally available multifunction unit, almost all sound and light functions of the prototype can be simulated deceptively real.

• Speed controller or TAMIYA multifunction unit MFC-03 300056523 for the driving, light and sound functions
• TAMIYA ACU-01 spindle drive unit (300056545) for driving the trough. The ACU-01 is plugged into the multifunction unit.
