Ferrite core for interference suppression of receiver and motor lines

A ferrite ring is suitable for reducing unwanted electromagnetic interference. This is especially recommended for lines from the receiver and to motors.

If interference occurs on the following modules:

• USM-RC-2 sound module
• Speed controller UFR-1230
• IR light module SM-IR-16-2

test an interference suppression with a ferrite ring.

Note on the SM-IR-16-2 IR light module: The interference suppression is especially important if additional trailer supports are to be controlled. Here a ferrite ring should be used on the receiver diode as well as on the motor cable.

The more often the line is wound through the ring, the better the interference suppression works. 4 - 5 windings next to each other are optimal. The ferrite ring should be placed as close as possible to the load in the line.
