Because of its unique articulated-wing design, the F4U Corsair is one of the U.S. Navy's most distinctive and recognizable World War II fighter aircraft. This updated and improved version of the E-flite® F4U-4 Corsair 1.2m features a factory-installed 3S and 4S compatible power system with an exclusive 70A Smart Lite ESC to provide more features and performance. The BNF®-Basic version also includes a telemetry-enabled AR631 receiver with AS3X® and optional SAFE®-Select technology, making flying easier than ever. The airframe now features the iconic blue color scheme and can be customized with separate decal sheets featuring MARINES, NAVY and other markings. Factory-installed rotating retractable landing gear with landing gear leg fairings and working landing gear doors take your scale Warbird experience to a new level!

Smarter, more powerful and easier to fly!

This updated and improved version of the E-flite® F4U-4 Corsair 1.2m is the smartest, most powerful and easiest to fly full-scale model of the legendary warbird yet! Better equipped for scale and sport flying, it also offers higher top speed and better aerobatic performance than before - and includes optional SAFE® Select technology to make flying easier (BNF® Basic version only). The factory-installed brushless propulsion system features a 70-A Spectrum™ Avian™ Smart Lite ESC and a specially tuned motor and 4-blade propeller. This combination delivers plenty of thrust with a 3S LiPo battery or more flight speed and nearly unlimited vertical climb performance with a 4S battery. The ESC can transmit a variety of real-time drive system telemetry data, including motor RPM, current, battery voltage and more - with Smart and non-Smart batteries - and via compatible receivers (including AR631) and Spektrum AirWare™-equipped transmitters. Lightweight yet durable, the composite-reinforced and fully molded EPO airframe features abundant scale detail, including sheet metal butts and a pilot figure. Functional scale features include factory-installed rotating retractable landing gear mechanisms with landing gear leg fairings, and working landing flaps. Decal sheets for MARINES, NAVY and other markings are used to customize the factory paint scheme. No glue is required for final assembly - meaning the F4U-4 Corsair 1.2m is ready to fly in less time than it takes to charge a battery!
