Introduction: The E-flite EC-1500 Twin is a groundbreaking aircraft that offers pilots a unique flying experience! This twin-engine shoulder-wing aircraft is reminiscent of civilian or military transport aircraft role models, but has an incredible range of flight characteristics and options that no other aircraft can match. Equipped with 3S and 4S compatible propulsion systems and specially designed counter-rotating 5-blade propellers, the EC-1500's flight spectrum includes everything from slow and prototypical flying to sport flying to aggressive 3D aerobatics! You can fly from hard or grass runways; from the snow with the included optional skis; or from the water with the optional float kit (sold separately). Plus, factory features include installed LED lighting, a working cargo door, and a fully painted surface that you can customize with included Ohio Air National Guard, Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marines, Navy, and more markings. Overview: This updated and upgraded E-flite® EC-1500 Twin 1.5 m features a design built from the ground up, optimized for performance, versatility and fun to deliver a flying experience you can't match with any other aircraft! It's basically multiple aircraft in one, and you'll find a flight performance spectrum that encompasses everything from slow, prototypical flying, to sport flying style, to 3D aerobatics. The twin motor drives feature brushless outrunner motors with specially designed counter-rotating five-blade propellers - including propeller drivers in an updated layout, for easier and much safer propeller installation. This setup delivers excellent performance with a 3S 3200-6400 mAh LiPo battery, or you can use a 4S battery to get the power for torquing and unlimited vertical climb performance - all without modifications or upgrades! In addition, the motors are tuned to an exclusive 40-amp Spektrum™ Avian™ Dual Smart ESC that can provide a variety of real-time telemetry data of the propulsion system with Smart and non-Smart batteries via compatible receivers (including the built-in AR8360T) (BNF® Basic version and to Spektrum AirWare™ equipped transmitters). The BNF® Basic version is equipped with an AR8360T receiver that provides comprehensive real-time telemetry data, including battery voltage, ESC temperature and more - plus differential thrust and motor thrust reversal for special ground handling and other features - along with the benefits of AS3X® and optional SAFE® Select technology. The wing features ailerons of selectable size and flaps that can deflect in either direction. This makes different wing configurations possible thanks to the 8-channel receiver - including "crow" and/or aileron/flaperon/spoiler setups across the full span.

There are eight factory-installed servos, including metal-gear servos on all control surfaces and a servo for the functional cargo door, so you can transport and drop payloads in the large cargo bay. The realistic-looking LED landing, navigation and ACL lights are powered by the flight battery, so you can fly from dawn to dusk - from hard and grass runways, or in the snow with the included skis; or from large ponds and lakes with the optional floats (sold separately). You can also remove the magnetic nose and mount a GoPro® or similar camera for aerial HD recording, or install a separate FPV camera on the large top lid (cameras/equipment sold separately). In addition, you can use the included decals to personalize the fully painted gray surface with Ohio Air National Guard, Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marines, Navy markings, and more!
