AMXFlight T28 Trojan 388mm 4 Channel 3D/6G, 2.4GHz RTF
The T-28 Trojan is a training aircraft and light ground combat aircraft which was already developed in the 1940s as a training aircraft. In the early 1950s, series production began with the 588 kW seven-cylinder Wright R-1300-1A radial engine and two-blade propeller. A total of 1194 of this version were produced before the further development T-28B with the more powerful Wright R-1820-26 engine with 1047 kW power and a three-blade propeller was introduced in 1954. Later there were several variants. For example, the T-28C, which used the same engine as the T-28B and, thanks to a reinforced rear fuselage, airbrakes and arresting hooks, was also suitable for aircraft carriers. It had its maiden flight on September 19, 1955, and 299 examples were built until 1957. The T-28D Nomad (also AT-28) was a modified A version with a Wright R-1820-56S engine and six underwing stations for up to 1814 kg weapons load, intended to serve various COIN missions.
The T-28 Trojan in the Amewi Edition is a scale replica of this famous US aircraft with a true-to-the-original paint scheme and combines perfect flight characteristics (6G for beginners, 3D for advanced pilots) with state-of-the-art technology. The model is controlled by all axes (lateral, altitude, side, engine) and is self-stabilizing in 6G mode. (Gyro) This stabilization also prevents stalling of the model and allows only a limited angle of the model. Looping, rolling or inverted flight are not possible in this setting. If you switch the model to 3D mode using the high quality 2.4GHz transmitter, the model is suitable for dynamic aerobatics and allows all standard maneuvers such as loops, rolls, etc. without any problems. However, should something go wrong. The model can be switched back to 6G mode with the push of a button and the model would immediately resume a stable flight attitude (rescue function) in addition to all these features, the model is equipped with a receiver board that allows operation with e.g. Futaba or other 5V S-Bus receivers or DSM receivers with a 3V output. Thus, the model is not dependent on the supplied transmitter and it can be used with an existing transmitter.
