The original Timber 1.5m continues to impress with its strong STOL (short takeoff and landing) capabilities in a design that offers sporty flight performance and everyday handling. From beginners to experienced pilots, everyone loves their Timber - but some pilots wished for better aerobatic capabilities. The E-Flite® Timber X 1.2m combines the STOL capabilities of the original Timber with a new wing design that features enlarged ailerons and flaps, increased rudder and elevator, and a more powerful 3 - 4S powerplant.

So the Timber X 1.2m offers the 3D aerobatic capability you'd expect from a thoroughbred aerobatic plane.

The E-flite Timber X 1.2m ushers in a new era by merging STOL and 3D flight capabilities. Based on the extremely popular Timber 1.5m, but with a new wing design, oversized control surfaces, and a 3S and 4S compatible power system, it offers a wider range of flight characteristics from "quiet to aggressive". Hollow-core, fiberglass-reinforced EPO construction results in a lightweight yet strong airframe that can handle extreme aerobatic maneuvers while keeping wing loading low for impressive STOL (short takeoff and landing) performance. The model features larger metal-gear servos and the original model's shock-absorbing landing gear, so you can fly as aggressively as you like from almost any surface.

You can even install the included slats to improve low-speed performance and the optional floats (sold separately) to fly from the water. LED landing, navigation and strobe lights, as well as many other popular features from the original, round out the Timber X.
