The Ranger 1800 from FMS is a trainer model with 180cm wingspan, which is excellent for beginners with good-natured flight characteristics. But also experienced pilots can be convinced by its aerobatic skills and STOL capabilities (takeoffs within 3 meters).

The model is constructed of ultra-light EPO hard foam material and offers exceptional lift even at slow speeds with extremely low wing loading.

Reliable propulsion A great aircraft naturally needs a great and, above all, reliable propulsion system. FMS has equipped the Ranger with a 750KV outrunner on a 45A regulator, allowing the Ranger to go vertical on 4S if needed.

Rugged tripod landing gear With a patented spring-loaded nose gear and rugged metal main landing gear, the Ranger 1800 absorbs virtually any hard ground contact. The durable, oversized wheels are designed specifically for rough field use.

Realistic lighting The Ranger 1800 features pre-installed LED lighting that gives the model a realistic appearance with navigation lights and landing lights.

Optional floats In addition to the metal landing gear, an optional float set with integrated rudder is available separately, making takeoffs and landings possible even on bodies of water.

Quick assembly For experienced pilots, the model with its bolted construction is assembled ready to fly in just 3 minutes. So the model is assembled much faster than the battery is charged.

Reflex stabilization system (included in this set) Included with this set is a Reflex system programmed specifically for this aircraft. This electronic stabilization system is designed to assist, but not interfere with, pilot control commands. The Reflex system works with both PPM and SBUS inputs, and works natively with all common rudder control systems. When the Reflex system is connected to a 3-channel switch, 3 different modes can be selected:

Stabilized mode: When releasing the control sticks, the model is automatically brought into a neutral flight position, which offers especially beginners and inexperienced pilots a lot of safety in dicey situations.

Optimized mode: The gyro system of the Reflex system counteracts external influences such as gusts of wind or crosswinds and keeps the model precisely in a stable position.

Off: The Reflex System can be turned off completely. The Reflex System is set specifically for this flight model. No further programming is required, only installation and connection in the model. The Reflex System can be connected to all receivers with at least 4 channels.
