Just when the trend in the USA was moving more and more in the direction of faster and higher, the aviation engineer B.D. Maule was working on the opposite in a quiet, rural corner of the country. The goal of his development was not a high-bred racing diva, but an absolutely practical aircraft. With the Maule he developed and its unbelievably good short take-off and landing characteristics, he set new standards that are appreciated by many pilots around the world.

Overview

The 1.5m E-flite® Maule M-7 features STOL (Short Take Off and Landing) capabilities and the distinctive lines and appearance of its rugged prototype. From the clean cabin glazing and interior details to a variety of exterior features such as LED lights, antennas, vortex generators and riveted panels, the Maule M-7 sets a new standard for replicas of civilian pre-bilighters. The EPA design results in a lightweight yet durable airframe. The two-piece wing is equipped with flaps for outstanding low-speed performance and STOL capabilities. The factory-installed brushless propulsion system provides plenty of power when flying from smooth or rough surfaces with the oversized wheels, or when flying from the water with the included float kit.
