The Junkers JU-52 is also affectionately known as "Aunt Ju" and originally came from the Junkers Flugzeugwerke AG in Dessau. Originally designed as a cargo plane, the JU-52 was later used primarily as a commercial airliner. Typical aircraft features are 3 propulsion engines and an outer skin made of corrugated sheet metal.

The model was designed for modern electric propulsion and faithfully reproduced the original.
