The little falcon (F1H) glider 1240mm wooden kit
55.95 €
The Little FALKE is the ideal first real glider with which you can gain building ground knowledge and learn to fly with a free-flight model. And that's not all - you can build the model Der Kleine FALKE as the free-flying glider of category A1 (international class F1H) and fly with it just for fun. Or you can take part in student competitions with him. But it is also possible to equip it with a small receiver with two servos and win a small RC glider. You can also mount a pylon with a small brushless electric motor with pusher propeller and enjoy flying with a motor glider. Thanks to the excellent construction, it is possible to finish the model Der Kleine FALKE first as a free flying model. Anytime later you can easily add a remote control and also a motor! Or vice versa...
When building, thanks to the precisely laser-cut parts, it is enough to work only with the most basic tools (modeling knife, razor or scroll saw, sandpaper, pins, hair flat brush), modeling glue and varnish. Excellent construction, interfitting parts, useful jigs supplied in the kit and prefabricated parts allow you to proceed quickly and easily.
The front part of the fuselage forms a construction of laser-cut balsa and plywood parts, in which there is enough space for ballast and a timer for a free-flight model as well as for a receiver or drive battery, two servos and a receiver in the RC model. Access to them is via a removable cabin cover. The tail boom is formed by a carbon tube, which guarantees low weight and high strength.
The nose section of the Jedelsky all-balsa wing is formed by pre-sanded balsa strips. Thanks to the perfect design, only a flat work plate is enough for its construction. The wing is attached to the fuselage with rubber rings.
V-tails are formed from laser-cut balsa boards. The rudders are suspended on nylon hinges. To adjust or control them, a pair of Bowden cables are used, which are attached to a carbon fuselage beam and inserted into the space in the nose of the fuselage. On a free-flight model, the wires of the Bowden cables are taped to their outer tubes with a piece of self-adhesive tape - the rudders are thus held firmly in place, but can be adjusted to set the glide if necessary.
The high launch hook supplied in the kit allows The Little FALKE to be towed on a 25 - 50 meter rope (nylon fishing line) without deflection, or launched from a small catapult (5 m rubber 3x2 mm + 20 m nylon line).
For the RC glider you need a RC set with mixer for delta, a miniature receiver and two 5-6 g micro servos.
The Little FALKE was developed in the Czech Republic and is produced there.
