It's time for fun! With the FunStik retro-style "Fokker-Morane" hobby aerobatic sport flyer, you will have a lot of fun in the workshop and at the airfield. FunStik is an ideal project for modelers who already have experience with building simpler models and are familiar with flying high-wing aircraft with controllable ailerons. Thanks to excellent construction with laser-cut parts that have notches and protrusions that fit together like pieces of a puzzle, assembly is very quick and easy. Whether you equip FunStik with a 3.5-4 cc combustion engine or 500-600 W brushless electric motor, you'll have a nimble and nimble aerobatic model that will bring you lots of pleasure!

Model FunStik was designed and is manufactured in the Czech Republic.

The fuselage has a classic construction of balsa and light plywood. Its backbone is the lower balsa plate with laser-cut grooves, into which you gradually insert all the formers, partitions and side walls. The combustion engine is attached to the plastic bed on the plywood motor bulkhead. It is just as easy to mount the tail-mounted electric motor. The space for rudder, elevator and throttle servos is in the fuselage under the wing. A removable top cover then allows access to the fuel tank or insertion of a drive battery.

The one-piece wing with a symmetrical airfoil has a classic construction with balsa ribs and a fixed planking of the D-box. It is attached to the fuselage with two plastic screws. Again, construction is facilitated by the use of laser-cut parts with jigsaw-style incisions and protrusions. This allows you to assemble everything correctly and not twisted, without the need for building jigs. Ailerons across the span of the wing are controlled by two microservos with short direct wire linkages. The wing design allows the linkage and aileron levers to be mounted on the bottom of the wing (suitable for flights with landing gear) or on the top of the wing (suitable for flights without landing gear with belly landings in the grass).

The planar tail surfaces are glued from spruce spars and laser-cut balsa parts. The rudder and elevator are controlled by servos placed in the fuselage under the wing with Bowden cables.

The landing gear with a fixed spur is made of duralumin, with light wheels KAVAN.

To control the model you need at least a 4-channel RC set. For the rudder and elevator are suitable ordinary servos with actuating force 3-4 kg.cm. To reduce the weight of the electric jet, you can mount mini or micro servos with similar parameters. For aileron and throttle use high quality microservos.

To power the model, you can choose ordinary two-stroke engines with a 3.5-4.0 cc glow igniter and 100-150 ml tank. If you choose more powerful O.S. MAX-25FX II, 150-170 ml tank is preferable.

In the electric version you can mount a 500-600 W brushless electric motor, for example KAVAN C3542-1200 or Model Motors AXI 2820/10 V2 with a 10x6-8" propeller, 50-60A regulator and 3S LiPo battery 2200-2600 mAh.
