The spinner series for aerodynamic peak performance.

The Z spinners combine the advantages of the CN spinners (Cool Nose with cooling air openings) and the cranked Z center sections. The angled aluminum center sections allow the folding propeller blades to fit even closer to the fuselage for less drag during soaring. The spinners with the center pieces are designed for slim E-sailplane fuselages, but can also be advantageous for wooden fuselages in box construction, for example, if they are ground round.

The centerpieces of the spinner sizes 38,40 and 42mm are interchangeable, so e.g. 38mm spinner caps can be operated with the centerpiece of 42mm spinners. These combination options provide further optimization potential, as they allow finer tuning to the respective fuselage. The 30mm spinner has its own centerpiece, which cannot be combined with the other spinner caps.

The Z-Spinner contains a spinner cap (diameter 42mm) made of white plastic (very well paintable), milled aluminum center piece with integrated receptacle for clamping cone, special prop rubber for folding the propeller blades, mounting screws for spinner cap and propeller blades.

The diameter of the spinner cap is 42 mm. The center distance (d) is 36 mm for this spinner. This means that the diameter of the propeller blades is reduced by 6 mm (0.24"). Example: A 12" diameter propeller effectively has a diameter of 11.76" at this center piece (the size specifications for folding propellers always refer to the use of a center piece with center distance d=42 mm).
