It acts like a virtual spring, returning the Alias to smooth, controlled flight in any situation. Excellent visibility is enhanced by special high-intensity LED optics that clearly define the shape of the Alias and can be seen from both above and below. The raised rotors prevent tangling when landing in the grass. The slim frame design increases strength while reducing weight. Six-axis self-leveling flight system The Alias is equipped with unique, proprietary flight control software that provides full six-axis control. The flight system acts like a virtual spring, returning the Alias to level flight whenever the controls are released. With the system in Easy mode, anyone can quickly learn to hover and fly - just minutes after launch! The software has been tuned to work transparently in the background to increase flying fun and stability while maintaining the Alias' fast, responsive control and sense of connection with the pilot.

Three flight modes Alias is equipped with 3 flight modes. Easy mode takes advantage of the automatic flight control software for rock-solid stability. In Easy mode, flight angles are limited to keep speed in check while new pilots develop their skills. In Fast mode, the autoleveling flight system still works for you, but the full speed potential of the Alias is unlocked, along with the ability to perform exciting aerobatics, spins and rolls at the touch of a button. In Expert mode, the automatic flight software is disabled to give the pilot full manual control. The Alias shines in expert mode with responsive, linear controls that will satisfy even experienced pilots. The Alias can even help pilots in training improve their skills without worrying about crash damage or breakage before moving on to expensive professional helis.

High-intensity LED optics Visibility is critical to identifying a quadrotor helicopter's orientation and direction of flight. The Alias offers maximum visibility day and night with its colorful, high-intensity LED optics. When the sun goes down, the unique lens design and brilliant LEDs illuminate the sky, clearly defining the outline of the Alias and making incredible night flying experiences possible.

Powerful motors The LaTrax Alias is equipped with four independently controlled high-performance motors - with 50% more power than standard motors. This extra power gives the Alias an impressive quad-rotor thrust for high-speed flight maneuvers. Directional control is easily achieved by varying the power and thrust of each motor. The high-mount propulsion system raises the props and gearbox, preventing them from getting tangled in grass and other surface debris when the Alias flies close to the ground.

Custom colors The LaTrax Alias' rotor blades, LED lenses and canopies are all interchangeable, allowing for a custom color scheme for the helicopter. Accessory rotor blades, LED lenses and canopies are available in exciting colors like Rally Red, Victory Green, Brilliant Blue and Speed Orange. You can give your Alias a whole new look in just minutes! 2.4GHz Multi-Mode Transmitter The Alias transmitter was designed with comfortable ergonomics and precise control in mind. The Alias can fly for a long period of time, so the transmitter is lightweight and feels good in the hand. Thumb pads are attached to the gimbals for easy, relaxed flying, similar to what you would expect from a video game controller. Sticks are included for traditional pilots, which can be easily installed. The gimbals themselves have been carefully selected to provide very precise control, with just the right amount of spring pressure and linear feel throughout the range of motion. These gimbals are precisely matched to the flight software to give the pilot a sense of one-to-one connection with the Alias. The Alias immediately instills confidence in the pilot by responding precisely to transmitter inputs.

Functionally, the transmitter is also designed to enhance your flying enjoyment by making it easy to use. With 2.4 GHz control, you never have to worry about your radio interfering with others. Just turn on the power and you are always connected. There's no external antenna to break off or worry about. A detailed LCD display provides clear information and visually guides you through the transmitter's menu functions when you want to adjust the way your Alias flies.

Telemetry-enabled battery fuel gauge. The transmitter receives telemetry data from the Alias and provides visible and audible warnings when the battery level in the Alias is low. This warning gives you time to safely fly the Alias back to you when it's time to recharge the battery. It sounds simple, but it's details like these that work together to make your flying experience as easy and fun as possible.

Powered by Traxxas The radio system is powered by Traxxas, so you can count on its performance and reliability. The radio system also uses Traxxas Link model memory technology, which automatically stores and loads settings for up to ten Alias helis. You simply turn on the models and let the transmitter do the rest.

Exciting aerobatics at the push of a button The high thrust, light weight and incredibly responsive controls of the LaTrax Alias allow you to perform amazing maneuvers with just a push of a button and a movement of the control stick. To perfect these maneuvers, pilots typically need several hours of flight time, and LaTrax provides them to you right out of the box. They can be performed one after the other for impressive freestyle flying shows.

Flips and Rolls: The Alias is programmed to perform single flips and rolls by simply pressing a button and moving the control stick in the direction you want to flip or roll. Forward or backward flips, rolls to the left or right, and even diagonal flips are possible. Alias can even be programmed to perform 3 or even 5 flips or rolls at once and return to straight flight.

Twister: Alias will spin around its center axis (yaw) while maintaining virtual heading and normal flight control. This is an extremely difficult maneuver for even experienced pilots to perform. Alias performs it at the touch of a button while you continue flying normally.

Expert Mode: For all the pro pilots out there, turn up the rates to the max in expert mode and try all these maneuvers manually. With the Alias, pro pilots can push their skills to the limit without fear of costly damage from crashes. The Alias has the durability, power and responsiveness you need to hone your quadcopter ace skills.

LiPo power for maximum flight time To maximize flight time and fun, the Alias is equipped with a 650mAh LiPo (lithium polymer) battery. The LiPo battery is the best technology for the Alias because it offers high power output and plenty of capacity in a compact, lightweight package. Flight times of up to 15 minutes are possible. Installing the battery is simple: slide the battery into the slot, plug it in and insert the connector into the special clip.

USB fast charger with high power Since the Alias is too much fun to wait long between flights, a high output USB fast charger for the battery is included. Just plug it into any USB port, pop the battery into the charger, and you're on your way to the next launch. At full power, the battery charging time is about half an hour. The LED indicator lets you know the battery's charge status so you don't miss out on charging. An optional dual high-power charger is also available (sold separately).

Hex Hardware High quality, metric hex hardware provides added strength and easy maintenance and repair.

Rubber feet Soft rubber feet are integrated into the main frame design to absorb shock and help the Alias land safely every time.

Precision Rotors Alias rotors were developed in software and tuned on a custom-built test rig to ensure maximum thrust and efficiency. A unique manufacturing process was developed to ensure perfect balance for smooth and consistent performance. The specially blended colors are super intense for added visibility.
