Black Belt 350 main rotor blade

The new high performance rotor blade, which sets completely new standards in terms of efficiency and power conversion. Suitable for Gaui X3, TRex 450 or similar helicopters of this size (450 class). The extreme performance of this blade is demonstrated not least by the numerous international successes of our team pilots, which includes the victory of the Helimasters 2014 in Venlo by the world champion Dunkan Bossion.

In our new blade series, the Black Belts, our years of experience, scientifically proven wind tunnel results and pilot preferences have been taken into account and implemented. The profile of the blade meets today's upscale engine performance standards.

The blade is adapted at every point to the rotational speed of the rotor. This results in a significant increase in efficiency (up to 30% according to wind tunnel data), which is noticeable in better response to cyclic inputs, smoother stopping behavior and much faster acceleration.

Additionally, these blades are no longer drilled at the blade connection: The hole for the blade mounting bolt is implemented through the mold, which means the fiber is no longer destroyed. This ensures significantly higher strength with the same amount of material. By using a new type of carbon fiber, which ensures better fiber coverage, the strength has been increased once again.

For safety reasons, the number of Kevlar fibers previously used has been multiplied in order to keep pace with the trend toward ever higher speeds. The advantage of Kevlar is clearly that this fiber bonds completely with the resin. This is not ensured with conventional materials such as wire, since the wire is always a foreign body within the fiber composite.

In the design, attention was paid to the best possible attitude recognition in all weather conditions, but without losing the distinctive SpinBlades look. This was realized by a combination of visible carbon fiber and highly brilliant white fields.

Furthermore, as with all of our blades, a strong focus was placed on balancing, ensuring a tolerance of less than 0.05g.

These blades fit perfectly on a Gaui X3, TRex 450L Dominator or similar helicopters of this size (450 class).
