The world-renowned T-REX 450 has long been a trendsetter among helicopters, and nearly every enthusiast has probably owned one.
With even more innovative design elements, Align launches another "e;shocker", the T-REX 450L Dominator.
The T-REX 450L Dominator combines the familiar feel of the T-REX 450 with new techniques and features previously only seen on larger, competition-ready models. These include the addition of extra elements to the frame, the battery mounting rail, the top-mounted motor and the "T-REX 700E DFC" typical ball bearing block with integrated servo mount. The newly added reinforcing plates not only improve the overall strength and anti-torsion properties of the helicopter, the red anodizing also looks great and increases the attractiveness and exclusivity.
Equipped with the DFC flybarless head and redesigned 3D specific 360 3G main rotor blades, this combination provides both stability and agility. Improved anti-torsion characteristics and power enhance overall flight performance. Based on the 6S1P 22.2V battery, the 460MX (1800KV) motor is made for the T-REX 450L Dominator. Paired with the RCE-BL45X brushless controller used, the motor works very efficiently, bringing plenty of power and extreme torque. In addition to these features, it has low power consumption and low operating temperature.
Using the latest design concept and high quality electronics, the T-REX 450L Dominator surpasses traditional flight characteristics with more stability, extreme performance and excellent control feel without losing the convenience of this smaller class. Features 1. equipped with the DFC flybarless head and redesigned 3D specific 360 3G main rotor blades, this combination provides lower drag, more stability and agility. 2. Carbon side frame using composite technology and integrated battery mounting rail. Judicious use of free space in the frame results in a stable and aesthetically pleasing frame design. Moreover, with its new concept, the new 450L easily succeeds the 450Pro. Equipped with direct servo CCPM control and the T-REX 700E DFC-like ball bearing block with integrated servo mount for simplified servo installation. Added to this are brand new dual bearing DS416M servos with improved torque and speed for reduced "deadband" and better longevity. Based on the 6S1P 22.2V battery, the 460MX (1800KV) motor is made for the T-REX 450L Dominator. The motor is very efficient, with high power and extreme torque. In addition to these features, it has low power consumption and low operating temperature. 5. brand new RCE-BL45X brushless controller, designed for 2S-6S LiPo batteries with alternating BEC and variable voltage from 5V-6V. text by fw 6. to increase rigidity and anti-torsion capability, a frame reinforcement has been added to the frame, which also increases the overall aesthetics of the helicopter thanks to the red anodizing. 7. new battery mounting rail with integrated runners in the side frame and corresponding lock simplifies battery mounting and further protects it. 8. new anti-rotation guide with reinforced material ensures less wear between anti-rotation guide and linkage. 9. Vertically mounted rudder servo for narrower CG supports sportiness in 3D flights. 10. tail boom stabilizer linkage has been added to further increase the stiffness of the entire tail boom. 11. using competitive materials and embedded materials not only increases the stiffness of the rudder but also the visibility during flight. 12. new tail rotor blade holders with thrust bearings increase rudder precision and both end blocking effectiveness and bearing longevity. Increasing the size of the tail rotor blades to 360mm also aids tail blocking. The new design results in much better visibility in the air. 13. two-point control arrangement on the tail improves the effect on rudder and control precision.
