BEC regulator UBEC 3A 2-6s

The 3A-UBEC is a DC/DC switch mode regulator which provides constant and safe power to receiver, gyros or servos. It is very useful for RC helicopters or other model aircraft when the power of the BEC in the controller is not sufficient or it has no built-in BEC.

Why do you need a UBEC? The UBEC is a DC regulator with switch mode technology which works independently from the electronic speed controller. It converts the high voltages from 5.5V to 26V of a battery pack into a constant and safe voltage for receiver, gyros and/or servos. Many standard regulators have limited ability to provide power to receivers and servos without overheating and shutting down or even burning out. If you use a battery pack with high voltage or a servo with high current consumption, you should check the manual of the controller before where the limits are. As a general rule, however, it can be said that when using 4S LiPo packs or 12 cell NiMH battery packs, the limit is about 2 servos. In this case you should consider using a UBEC.
