Program card KAVAN PRO

LED programming card for controllers of KAVAN PRO series for airplanes is used for easy and fast programming of controllers - at home "on the table", as well as on the airfield. The controller is connected by means of a servo cable, the socket is located on the upper side. The power supply of the board is ensured by the BEC system of the KAVAN PRO controller, or an ordinary 4-5 cell NiCd/NiMH or 2S LiPo/LiFe battery connected to the box (in the case of the OPTO controller). Programming is performed with the motor and drive batteries connected.

ATTENTION: The LED programming card KAVAN PRO cannot be used for programming the first generation controllers FOXY and the programming card first generation FOXY cannot be used for programming the controllers KAVAN PRO.

The KAVAN PRO flight controllers can be programmed in the model with the propeller mounted - however, for safety reasons, we recommend that you remove the propeller during programming - this will prevent a possible accident in the event of an operating error. In the same way, program the controllers in cars safely standing on dismounted wheels, and in ships with the propeller in the air or with the pinion or the connector of the ship's shaft dismounted.

Four buttons on the front panel of the card are used for programming. With their help you select the program functions ("ITEM") for setting and you set their value ("VALUE"). The "OK" button is used to confirm the performed change and save it in the controller. The "RESET" button is used to delete all settings and return all values to factory settings. The number of the program function is displayed on the left side of the two-part LED display ("ITEM"), the value of the function is displayed on the right side of the one-part LED display ("VALUE").

The way of connecting the controller to the programming board depends on the type of the controller - it differs depending on whether it is the controller with BEC power supply or the OPTO controller. When switching on, follow exactly the instructions supplied with the card and your controller.
