High reliability Thanks to years of product technology advancement, the XR8 now has more powerful hardware & software than its predecessors. Reliable hardware combined with the most advanced software allow the XERUN XR8 ESC to provide even more aggressive performance while still being protected against overload. This makes the controller very reliable and durable.

Automatic Mode Switching Based on the real-time operating status of the ESC & motor, the ESC automatically switches between Sensored & Senlorless operation. This can ensure that the system continues to operate even when sensor signals are abnormal.

Dynamic Program Control The world's first 1/8th speed controller to adopt the successful and popular "Dynamic Timing" technology from the 1/10th on-road scene. This guarantees a much wider range of adjustable output power and also improved efficiency and sensitivity.

Advanced and safe electronic switch This electronic switch has a lifetime of more than 50,000 switching operations and is also completely waterproof & dustproof and also has a shockproof design. This makes problems such as rusty contact points or moisture in the switch a thing of the past. Also, it can not turn itself off after hard landings or accidents like a conventional mechanical switch.

Super built-in BEC The world's first controller with built-in Super BEC which can provide a max. output power of up to 15A. In addition, the output voltage is adjustable between 6V & 7.4V. This allows you to run a wide variety of servos such as high current (HV) servos to maintain maximum control of the model.

Reliable cooling system The circuit board inside the controller is equipped with Hobbywing's patented heat-conducting copper rails that quickly dissipate heat to the CNC-machined aluminum heat sink housing. In addition, the fan helps to dissipate the heat optimally. This is also developed in the anti-shock design to do its job reliably even with frequent jumps. Thanks to this highly efficient cooling system, the controller will always perform its service in the optimal temperature range.

Almost maintenance free The entire controller, with the exception of the fan, is basically maintenance-free. Only the fan cover has to be removed to replace the fan if necessary. It is therefore not necessary to open the housing or similar and the whole process can be done quickly and smoothly.
