Designed and developed by Traxxas, the XL-2.5 Electronic Speed Control delivers smooth throttle control in 1/16 and smaller models and is fully waterproof for all-weather R/C driving fun. This high-performance controller is loaded with impressive specs normally found only on more expensive high-end replacements. The XL-2.5 features three throttle profiles, thermal shutdown protection, compatibility with 4-7 cell NiMH and 2-cell LiPo, and a built-in BEC. High frequency operation combined with ultra-low resistance make the XL-2.5 an efficient and ultra-smooth fully proportional speed controller. The XL-2.5 is equipped with a two-stage low voltage detection (LVD) to allow the use of LiPo batteries.
