The MFR-1210 mini speed controller is a small and versatile speed controller for brushed motors up to 10 A. It provides stepless and sensitive control of forward and reverse motion and includes a 5 V BEC. With a PWM clock frequency of 20 kHz no disturbing whistling noises are audible.

The MFR-1210 is suitable for use in functional modeling, especially for auxiliary and auxiliary drives, but also for the complete travel drive of small models.

Due to the small dimensions and the simple connection, movements of e.g. trailer supports and lifting arms, or tilting functions and turret turning on tanks can be easily implemented and controlled.

As soon as no throttle is applied and the throttle channel is in neutral (center position), the speed controller actively brakes with the EMK motor brake until the model comes to a standstill (with a brake ramp).

For a gentle operation of motor and battery, the motor speed is continuously monitored. This is especially important when changing between forward and reverse. Before a pole reversal, the motor is braked to a standstill and only then accelerated in the other direction.

The speed controller does not require additional teaching of the transmitter. The zero point range (center position) of the throttle channel is 1.500 ms, suitable for almost all remote controls.

The mini speed controller warns by acoustic signals in case of overtemperature, overcurrent and missing signal from the receiver.

To provide the motor movements with the appropriate sound and to control the speed of the motors, the speed controller can also be connected to the servo outputs of the following BEIER modules: Sound speed controller of the SFR series Sound module USM-RC-2 and USM-RC-3 Light modules LM-IR-16-4 and LM-BT-16-4
