With the new SW-2290SG servo from SAVÖX, the Taiwanese manufacturer Savöx has succeeded in revolutionizing servo technology. The patented design of this monster provides up to 35% more power, with proven standard installation dimensions. The SW-2290SG is waterproof according to IP 67 and therefore perfect for the tough use in large-scale modeling.

The torque of this monster leaves nothing to be desired, enclosed are the technical specifications at 6, 7.4 and 8.4V

6V = 45kg*cm at a positioning time of 0,16s/60°. 7,4V = 55kg*cm with a positioning time of 0,13s/60°. 8.4V = 70kg*cm with a positioning time of 0.11s/60°.

This was achieved by integrating the brushless motor directly into the all-aluminum housing. This has, in addition to a thermal advantage, opened the possibility to install a larger motor. In addition, a third ball bearing was integrated into the gearbox in order to optimally transmit the enormous actuating forces. A fully rubberized servo cable is also standard in this servo series. It protects the servo cable from damage, but is still flexible enough to be laid neatly. The SW-2290SG is suitable for use in helicopters, RC cars as well as in wing models.
