Current sensor 35A with MPX high current connector M6 for M-LINK receiver, Multiplex # 85403 Measures currents up to 35 A. Equipped with M6 connector system, the sensor is plugged between battery and consumer, e.g. to measure the current of the electric drive. "Nothing happens without current" - therefore the information about the currents in the model is vital! This is where the current sensors come into play. These actually have two functions:

Measuring the currents currently flowing, at the drive, receiver or the ECU battery (in jets). Interesting, e.g. to optimize the drive (how much current does my drive draw with which propeller) and to avoid overload situations. E.g., in the basic setup of the model, stall currents indicate incorrectly set servo travels. The indication of the remaining charge quantity, quasi the "fuel gauge" for the battery. Especially when using modern high-performance LiPo batteries (e.g. Li-BATT FX), the residual charge information is actually indispensable, since these batteries keep the voltage almost constant for a very long time during operation, but then "collapse" within seconds. This means that voltage-dependent monitoring, e.g. of the receiver battery, is no longer sufficient. Timers can also only be rough aids.

The sensor is looped in between battery and consumer with the already mounted MPX high current connector system. The sensors are connected to telemetry capable receivers or within the MSB to another sensor. With its basic function "output of the current currently flowing in A", the sensor can be put into operation immediately, for example to measure the current of the electric drive. After activating the charge counter with the MULTImate (# M82094) or the PC program "MULTIPLEX-Launcher "**, you will no longer fly by timer in the future, but by the actual residual charge of the drive battery. The current sensor thus becomes your electronic fuel gauge! Protect your batteries from too deep a discharge and thus prevent a shortened service life.
