The Graupner GR-18 receiver has 9 channels - integrated are a 3-axis gyro and a 3-axis accelerometer (A-meter). The receiver transmits the receiver voltage and temperature as well as signal strength without additional sensors. The integrated antenna diversity ensures best reception.

The software of the GR-18 with wing and helicopter software is suitable for wing models, flybarless helicopters and for multicopters.

The built-in gyro stabilizes the model even in difficult wind conditions. Spectacular flight maneuvers can be flown in a good-natured way. The acceleration sensors (A-meter) are used in the updateable Copter Flightcontrol for the attitude mode. The receiver software can be updated from heli wing software to copter software Q05.

The GR-18 is ideal for fixed-wing models, helicopters, including flybarless, as well as multicopters. The built-in flight control is fully configurable via HoTT telemetry.

Receiver Features

  • The use of up to 75 channels ensures extreme operational reliability and is insensitive to external interference
  • Wide receiver voltage range of 3.6 V - 8.4 V (functional down to 2.5 V) ensures full functionality even with voltage fluctuations
  • Compact size and minimum possible weight
  • Very high receiver input sensitivity, thus very high range
  • Front-mounted servo connectors facilitate installation and guarantee firm connections at all times
  • Very direct control feel due to the elimination of the additional transmission path to flight control
  • Space-saving, since the flight control and the necessary cables are omitted
  • Fast and easy gyro assignment
  • SUMD output for external devices
  • Compatible with all HoTT remote controls
  • Telemetry support for own HoTT sensors and HoTT sensors from other suppliers
  • Can be programmed and operated with all HoTT transmitters available to date, eliminating the need for a laptop computer

Features 3-axis gyro

  • Stabilization of the flight model in difficult wind conditions for up to 3 axes
  • Natural flight behavior due to proportional gyro blanking
  • Very good stabilization for cleanly flown flight maneuvers
  • Due to the 3-axis gyro, even aerobatic models that are difficult to control can be flown very smoothly and aerobatics are extremely simplified
  • Flight maneuvers can be flown much cleaner
  • Easy adjustment of the gyro assignment
  • Adjustment of parameters via HoTT telemetry
  • Flybarless system for helicopters
  • Extremely fast and easy, convenient and quick adjustment via Hott transmitter telemetry menu
  • Basic setting done in a few minutes
  • Fast and innovative axis assignment, thus flexible installation direction
  • Space-saving, thus simple accommodation, as well as fewer cables
  • Extremely light
  • Special vibration insensitive 3 axis sensors of the latest generation
  • Pirouette optimization of the swashplate and direction of the tail torque compensation are automatically detected
  • All common helicopter swashplates 90/120/135/140 degrees 3 servos and 90 degrees 4 servos
  • Adjustable swashplate rotation up to 90 degrees for multi-blade heads
  • Clear standard and on demand selectable expert menu
  • Sensitivity parameters during flight on speed and style also flight phase dependent adjustable via encoder
  • Super fast due to elimination of transmission time from receiver to flybarless system
  • Very direct control feel
  • Proven stabilization software for wing models already integrated incl. own vario sensor
  • Telemetry support for own Hott sensors and Hott sensors from other suppliers
  • SUMD output for other flybarless receivers.
  • HV capable. Input voltage range 3,6...8,4 V
  • Can be programmed and operated with all HoTT transmitters with telemetry available so far

Features Flybarless for helicopters

  • Easy programming of basic settings via telemetry.
  • Pirouette optimization is automatically determined from the parameters and works extremely well.
  • Extreme flight stability with simultaneous full 3D capability even with the basic settings.
  • Effect for tail and swashplate easily adjustable via telemetry menu or via selectable encoders.
  • Further optimization possibilities in the expert mode for the personal flight style and personal concerns.
  • Extremely easy adjustment of basic settings via telemetry:
  • Rotor direction
  • Swashplate type
  • Swashplate frequency 50...200 Hz
  • Swashplate direction
  • Swashplate servo centers Servo 1...3
  • Swash plate cycl. travel set to 7°.
  • Swashplate pitch travel A/B
  • Swashplate limit
  • Swashplate rotation
  • Tail servo center pulse 760µs, 960µs, 1.5 ms
  • tail servo frequency 50...333 Hz
  • tail servo center position
  • Expo yes/no
  • Logging for service purposes
  • Expert mode yes/no
  • Simple gyro axis assignment
  • Gyro action for tail and swashplate via telemetry or adjustable encoders.
  • In expert mode further parameters can be set.
