The TANDEM X18 dual-band telemetry remote control benefits from an optimized ergonomic design with rounded and comfortable grip areas, along with a new housing design that makes the remote control more stable and secure when standing. The remote control features easy-to-reach sliders and switches, 4 standard stick trims, and 2 additional trims that provide more flexibility in setting the remote control's optimal operational settings. The TANDEM X18 includes other enhancements such as built-in flash memory that improves and simplifies memory operation and use, and an interior designed with space and weight in mind while retaining all ETHOS setup and control features for the user.

Internal 868MHz/2.4GHz Dual-Band & External Module Bay The TD dual-band RF system combines the features and benefits of both FrSky 868MHz and 2.4GHz RF systems into one system. The TD features true simultaneous dual-band long-range control with telemetry, achieving reliable end-to-end latency of 4ms while maintaining a robust, high-quality signal link. The full range of TD, ACCESS and ACCST-D16 receivers are supported. The built-in TANDEM RF system supports ACCESS and ACCST D16 protocols. In addition, the Tandem X18 series features a rear lite module bay to provide more options for connecting external devices. The external Lite module bay supports R9M Lite, R9M PRO Lite, XJT Lite, etc. FrSky provides working compatibility with third-party products with self-developed technologies according to FrSky verified third-party compatibility test.
