SM-2-4Q Switching module

The SM-2-4Q switch module can be used to switch consumers (e.g. motors, lamps, pumps, etc.) with a high current consumption (up to 10A). The SM-2-4Q can therefore be used if, for example, the possible switching current of the sound module output is not sufficient for the connected consumer. As a reminder at the sound module USM-RC-2 a current per output of 1.5A is possible, the sum current of all outputs must not exceed 3.0A.

The switching module is usually controlled via the outputs of the sound module or via the outputs of a multiswitch module. Both inputs of the SM-2-4Q are minus-switching, i.e. the connected sound or switch module must also have minus-switching outputs.

The SM-2-4Q can be used in 2 operating modes, the switch mode and the motor mode.

In the switching mode, 2 consumers can be switched individually.

In motor mode, 1 motor can be controlled in 2 directions.
