VBar NEO 6.1 Express

VBar NEO is a new hardware platform that succeeds both the Mini VBar and the VBar Silverline with the latest technology and contemporary computing power.

The size of the unit is only slightly larger than the Mini VBar, but in terms of features it is similar to the Silverline. Thus, 9 full-fledged outputs and a full-fledged connection for the speed signal are available. There is also a connection for an external sensor and USB directly on the device, as well as two telemetry connections.

The most significant advance is the internal sensor array: Two different multi-axis sensors are used, which complement each other in their work, and thus function even under high vibration loads. The power supply has been significantly improved, so that even servos with poor filtering of interference on the supply can not harm the VBar NEO.

VBar NEO is supplied with the basic Express software version. Compared to the previous Express version, this is greatly upgraded, e.g. the speed controller for electric drive and bank switching are already included.

The Pro equipment includes extended parameter access. In conjunction with VBar Control, Pro also provides freely programmable macro cells for expanding the output functions. With VBar Control, the VPlane firmware for fixed-wing aircraft can also be used with Pro.

The top equipment is Pro Rescue, there is additionally the rescue function available.

To use all these new functions an update of VBar Control is required. The update is fully backwards compatible, so existing devices can still be used without modification.

VBar NEO already comes in the Express version with an improved control algorithm in version 6.1. In addition to the improvements of 6.0, a significant increase in stability was achieved in the area of top speed. This also allows pleasant flying with extremely low speed. The sudden surge has all but disappeared.
