Spektrum™ 1300mAh 11.1V LiPo 30C Smart LiPo Battery (SPMX-1089): You don't have to specify charge settings for a Spektrum Smart battery until you want to. When a Spektrum Smart LiPo battery is connected to a Spektrum Smart charger, unique parameters and status of that Smart LiPo battery will be uploaded from the Smart microchip built into the battery. The charge rate of individual batteries can also be customized by the user, allowing you to take full advantage of batteries with higher charge rates. The battery's integrated microchip remembers the last charge rate you set so that these settings are automatically applied the next time you connect the battery.

Every Smart LiPo battery comes from the factory with the next-generation IC2™ output connector, which is conveniently compatible with older RC models equipped with robust EC2 connectors. So you can use Smart batteries with older systems, but only when connected to a Spektrum Smart device will all the benefits of Smart technology become apparent.

Spektrum S100 1x100W USB-C Smart Charger (SPMXC2090): With up to 100W of power, a new user interface and the ability to quickly charge smart batteries via either the integrated IC3® or IC5® output, the S100 charger offers a versatile and truly hassle-free charging experience. You can charge a variety of RC batteries with the S100 charger. Use it with Smart batteries and you'll be amazed by its incredible functionality and performance.

When the battery charging cable is connected, the S100's Auto Charge function recognizes the parameters of your Smart battery, such as chemistry type and charge rate, and begins charging safely and correctly.

Balancing smart batteries is just as easy. The S100 charger balances your Smart G2 packs using the same IC connector used for charging. No separate, confusing balancing cables are required.

The S100 is powered via an included USB-C cable and is a convenient charging solution for RC beginners. Nothing else is required to charge your compatible battery.
