Smart Battery Technology When connected to a Spektrum™ Smart charger, a Smart battery's unique parameters, condition and balancing information are automatically transferred from its microchip via the IC3® or IC5® connector data cable. To charge and balance the battery pack, simply connect it to your smart charger. Safe charging begins automatically. Automatic Smart storage voltage ensures longer battery life.

Simple and fast Preset charge, discharge and storage parameters are automatically transferred from your Spektrum™ Smart battery to your Smart charger, making charging as easy as plugging in the battery pack. The battery's built-in microchip remembers the last set charge rate, so these settings are automatically applied the next time you plug it in.
