Designed from the ground up, the Mamba XLX2 offers a powerful combination of hardware and software enhancements, sensory performance, CRYO-DRIVE and waterproof design that will set a new standard for high performance power systems. The Mamba XL family is known for its extreme performance capabilities. The XLX2 pays homage to the legacy of its predecessors and surpasses their performance on all levels.

The combination of Mamba XLX2 and 2028-800kv is designed for the most extreme and demanding RC applications. The massive motor and high performance controller can push vehicles and drivers to their limits and beyond. This is the perfect combination for vehicles weighing up to 30 pounds and LiPo up to 8S.

Application Guidelines: 1: 5 scale vehicles weighing up to 30 lbs (13.6 kg) with the included Castle 2028 motor.

Items needed for operation: The Mamba XLX2 must use connectors rated for more than 150 amps of continuous operation, such as Castle 6.5mm polarized or CC BULLET 8.0mm

Programmability: Fully programmable Castle feature set with Castle Link USB adapter and free downloadable Castle Link Windows software or Castle Link App and a B-LINK Bluetooth adapter (sold separately).

Technical Tips: The Mamba XLX2 has threaded mounting holes on the bottom of the controller. There are four M3 mounting holes with a maximum depth of 5mm. They are 46 mm wide and 40.2 mm long. Use this template to help align and position the screw holes.

Product usage instructions: Do not use mounting screws that extend more than 5mm into the front of the motor. Using a screw that is too long may cause damage to the motor windings and is not covered under warranty.

Technical Notes: Running modes: Sensorless and Sensory

Water resistant design: The sensor board is coated with a silicone molded coating to protect the sensors from moisture. The sensor connectors are not waterproof. Water can cause loss of signal, which can lead to loss of sensory capabilities. Castle recommends applying dielectric grease to the outside of the sensor cable connections after cable installation. Routine maintenance is recommended after wet operation.
