Propulsion set for electric glider Lilienthal 40 RC LT40

With the motor attachment the Lilienthal 40 RC becomes a full electric glider model. This allows the model to be flown on level ground without the need for a high launch system. The motor attachment has been aerodynamically designed so that soaring in upwind conditions is possible without any problems. Cables are routed inside the motor attachment so that no cables hang freely and are neatly inserted into the fuselage of the model. The kit consists of various wooden parts, a brushless motor and controller specially assembled for this model, and a folding propeller with spinner. A blade stop for the folding propeller is also included.

The motor attachment can be retrofitted to all Lilienthal 40 RC models and can be purchased separately. An additional advantage is that the motor attachment can also be universally mounted on other model aircraft of this design and model class.

A 2S Lipo with 500mAh with EC3 connector is suitable as drive battery. For this drive battery, the appropriate connector is already soldered to the controller, so that the complete drive unit can be used without soldering work. All cable lengths are already prefabricated to fit exactly.
