Series production of the Tiger began in August 1942. With its relatively strong armor, up to 100mm at the front, and the 8.8cm KwK 36 L/56 as its main armament, the Tiger was a feared opponent on the battlefield. With just 1350 units of the Tiger produced, its military strategic importance was rather low, but it is one of the most famous tank types of its time.

True to detail on a scale of 1:16 The detailed RC Tiger I has a weight of about four and a half kilograms and measures approximately 520x240x200 (LxWxH mm). In the HengLong BB+IR edition, it features 2.4 GHz circuit board technology, speakers and smoke generator. This model features superior driving characteristics, various functions and realistic sound. Many small parts and different stickers perfectly round out the scale replica.

Controls and functions The powerful package features a 2.4 GHz control system. The motors with optimized torque give the Tiger I a precise, smooth ride. Gearboxes with robust gears and an improved transmission ratio provide increased power. Proportional control lets you start the tank very slowly and increase speed smoothly. The Tiger I drives forward and backward, also each with a left and right turn. Likewise, it can be turned left or right on the spot. You can raise and lower the gun and rotate the turret 320 degrees (160 degrees each side). Various engine sounds and smoke coming from the mufflers round out the realistic experience.
