Nothing screams classic touring car DTM racing of the 1990s like the Opel Calibras that roughed up race tracks all over Germany. Tamiya brings back a fan favorite with this R/C assembly kit that recreates the Opel Calibra V6 Cliff, which was one of the many teams that raced Opels during the 1990s. The polycarbonate body is mounted on the TT-01 Type-E chassis for easy assembly. The Opel Calibra V6 Cliff was previously released on the Tamiya TA-02 chassis during the R/C touring car boom of the 1990s.

About the Opel Calibra V6 Cliff: The Opel Calibra V6 Cliff competed in the 1995 German Touring Car Championship (DTM). Entered by Joest Racing with driver JJ. Lehto entered, the car was powered by a 2.5-liter V6 engine producing 420 hp. The striking black bodywork with the Cliff logo attracted attention, and the car proved its racing prowess in the DTM races.
