This Tamiya R/C kit recreates the classic 1992 Audi V8 Touring. We faithfully recreated this classic race car with a detailed polycarbonate body and combined it with our beginner and user friendly TT-02 chassis.

The 1992 Audi V8 Touring featured an upgraded 3.6 liter V8 engine, Audi's famous quattro all-wheel drive system, and an imposing body. It overcame significant ballast handicaps and showed overwhelming strength, most notably with a podium finish in the first race of the 2nd meeting at the Nürburgring.

The adaptable TT-02 chassis offers balanced all-wheel drive with propshaft. The TT-02's shaft-driven 4WD chassis is arranged longitudinally with the battery on the left and the engine on the right for excellent stability. It also features identical left and right suspension arms and knuckles, making assembly easier, and easy-to-maintain transmissions. It is an extremely adaptable chassis, as it offers 2 different wheelbases, 2 ground clearance levels and 2 profile setups, as well as 10 possible gear ratios. It's not short on looks either, with wheel hubs shaped like brake discs and stylish front bumper brackets.
