The Savage XS Flux offers everything you know and love from the breakneck Savage Flux in a smaller, more compact package! The powerful Flux brushless drivetrain delivers the most intense speedruns and combines this with legendary Savage durability that passes the bashing test with flying colors! Innovative HPI Savage TVP technology gives the Savage XS FLUX a class-leading chassis design and extreme monster truck looks plus ground clearance to conquer anything!

The Savage XS FLUX is equipped with an all-metal drivetrain and can handle huge jumps, massive stunts and speeds of over 100 km/h! All this is combined with legendary HPI Savage ruggedness so you spend more time driving and less time wrenching!

New Remote Control Like all HPI trucks, the Savage XS is easy to drive with the included steering wheel controller. The all-new 2.4Ghz FHSS TF-50 transmitter is packed with features like an interchangeable steering wheel for left-handed drivers, a foam-covered steering wheel, rubber finger and thumb grips, rubber pads on all corners, a magnetic area for body clips or screws, a digital switch, audible warnings when you leave it on, and a variety of servo adjustment parameters.

Elementary protection

The Savage XS offers protection for its electronics and is ready for wet conditions like mud, rain and snow! The waterproof receiver is completely sealed against moisture and protects it in wet conditions to ensure trouble-free operation. The SS-20WR waterproof steering servo and EMH-3S waterproof electronic speed controller complete the package so you can enjoy the action on the road in any weather!

Please note: The electronics are not designed to operate underwater. Rinse off any dirt or salt water with clean water immediately after driving. Check the engine to make sure there is no water or dirt inside, spray it with engine cleaning spray and let it dry completely before riding again.

Rugged Savage-style TVP chassis

The chassis of the Savage XS Flux is very similar to the Nitro and FLUX-powered Savage that everyone in the RC scene knows and loves: the legendary and original TVP Twin Vertical Plate chassis! The TVP chassis of the Savage XS FLUX consists of two extra-thick molded chassis sections connected by the diff cases at either end and the gear case and motor plates in the center. These load-bearing central chassis structures provide extreme rigidity and robustness to the chassis!

Metal gearbox

The Savage XS FLUX features super-tough all-metal transmissions that ensure the power from the brushless motor is transmitted without interruption. From the pinion and main gear to the multi-speed transmission, front and rear differentials, metal drive shafts and axles, the Savage XS FLUX is perfectly designed to transfer power directly to the ground. The entire drivetrain spins on highly efficient ball bearings for extra-long run times and mega-fast top speeds!

Ultra robust, oversized suspension

With its oversized suspension, the Savage XS FLUX is super tough and can withstand even the wildest bashing action! Extra-thick control arms and shock towers and massive upper links combined with all-steel components make the Savage XS chassis the ultimate mini-monster bashing machine! Sturdy yet flexible wide bumpers on both ends are equipped with underride protection plates to give the truck extra durability no matter what scrapes you get into!

All-Terrain 1/10 Oversize Tires. With the aggressive tread pattern of the 2.2-inch GT2 tires, you can go off-road or on-road with predictable handling. The center tread lines provide stability on paved surfaces, while the blocky tread and heavy-duty sidewall teeth provide grip on off-road terrain like dirt, mud, slush and leaves. The tires are mounted on gloss black 2.2" warlock rims for rugged monster truck styling. The Savage XS Flux can be used with a variety of 1/10th scale 2.2" wheels and tires, making it easy to customize the truck.

Silicone filled threaded shocks

Four threaded shocks provide the suspension action you need to tackle the toughest trails or roughest terrain. Made of smooth composite material, the silicone oil-filled shock bodies are lightweight and strong, with almost no friction between the shock piston and the shock body for smooth and consistent damping. You can also change the damper oil to change the ride, and the threaded damper bodies make it easy and fast to change the ride height - lower it for street riding, and raise it all the way up for big air stunts!

Flux MMH-4000 Motor

The Flux MMH-4000 motor delivers massive power - plenty of juice for instant wheelies and standing backflips! Optional sprockets are available to fine tune the speed and torque delivery! The brushless design provides maximum power and is virtually maintenance free.

Flux EMH-3S ESC

Designed for 2S and 3S LiPo power, the Flux EMH-3S can take anything you can throw at it. And it keeps coming back for more! The EMH-3S has an integrated fan that keeps it cool even in tough conditions. With the Flux EMH-3S ESC's reverse function, you can get out of a jam with ease.

LiPo Battery Power

The Savage XS FLUX was designed from the ground up to use powerful 2S or 3S LiPo batteries. A 2S (7.4V) battery offers the best balance between handling and performance and is what we recommend for most owners - but if you want to do top speed racing, you should use a 3S battery! With 11.1 volts, you can do standing backflips and reach speeds up to 65 mph (with the optional 34-tooth sprocket) without breaking a sweat!

Option parts #105809 & #6924 are required for 3S operation in most situations, such as off-road or stunt driving.
