Santorini fishing boat wooden kit

The Greek fishing cutter Santorini is built entirely of wood. For this purpose, all components are precisely laser cut and therefore require hardly any rework. The hull is planked with A-TEX, a new and unique building material that is very easy to work with and which gives the hull the necessary strength.

The sunshade is built from etched parts and covered with the enclosed sun sail. The prototypical character of the Santorini is emphasized by the net winch and the wooden boxes for the caught fish. The kit is equipped with high quality etched parts, which gives the Santorini with the many fine details a very realistic appearance on any water. The helm includes a steering wheel and airspeed indicator as well as a digital display for depth sounder or navigation.

The colorful original Mediterranean boats give the free color design of this model a variety of design options. The model is built in a scale of about 1:15, so there are also some accessories and additional equipment available. The large hull opening allows easy access to the RC components.
