If you want to make the submarine type VII b floor model |20310| drivable and submersible, you need the drive and dive kit. However, larger depth rudders must be used than those of the scale model. Subsequent conversion from a floor model to a submersible model is not possible.

The drive and dive kit includes the 2 drive motors with clutch, the entire linkage parts for the rudders, larger rudders, cover and seals for the RC box, as well as gear pump and hoses.

The technology: The diving method of this model is semi-dynamic, which means that a pump and a flood tank are included in the diving set, but only support dynamic (supported by speed) diving.
