1:87 Locomotive BR41 kit

Starting in 1936, the BR 41 "Standard" locomotive for fast, good trains was developed as part of the German State Railroad (DRG) construction program. During the trial period, the BR 41 was nicknamed the "Ox loco" because it was used to pull fast cattle trains. Subsequently, 366 of the BR 41 locomotives were built, divided among almost all German locomotive builders. The BR 41 was designed as a so-called multi-purpose locomotive. Besides its proper application - pulling express freight trains - its maximum speed is 90 km/h.

The model locomotive BR41 in scale 1:87 has a length of about 275 mm.
