The stand model is a replica of the Yamaha YZF-R1 presented at the Milan Motorcycle Show in September 1997. The street motorcycle was developed for maximum cornering, which was made possible by the 150 hp of the four-stroke, four-cylinder engine. The motorcycle was a high-end product at its time due to the high-quality parts used, such as a high-quality aluminum swingarm and a Deltabox II aluminum frame. The TAMIYA model kit version impresses with its high degree of accuracy of fit as well as its faithful reproduction of the original.
