The German Tiger I tank was designed in 1942. It was first used on the North African front. The Tiger I had armor thickness of 100mm on the front and 80mm on both sides, the main gun was the extremely powerful88mm KwK 36 L/56. The powerplant, Maybach`s HL 210 P45, produced 650 horsepower.
