Battleship BISMARCK 1:700

The original The Bismarck was next to the Tirpitz the largest battleship in WW2. The 251 m long ship was commissioned on 24.08.1940. After completing her training cruises, she took part in the Rhine Exercise. In the process, she sank the British battlecruiser H.M.S. Hood in a sea battle off Greenland on 24.05.1941. Subsequently, the bow-damaged Bismarck set course for a French port. In pursuit by British ships and aircraft, the ship was shot out of action on 27.05.1941 and sank in the Atlantic.
