The all-new Rustler 4X4 VXL is a heavy-duty wheelie machine that takes the speed and classic style of the popular Rustler model and brings it brutal 4WD performance, longer durability and even more fun! Bury the throttle and the Rustler 4X4 VXL launches its front wheels to the sky while shredding the ground below. Beneath the sleek, clipless body, the heavy-duty drivetrain offers extremely powerful Velineon® brushless power. The larger Talon EXT wheels and tires provide versatility and grip for any terrain, from backyard trails to concrete skate parks. Rustler 4X4 VXL destroys convention to become the new performance and fun standard for 4X4 stadium trucks!

All new chassis New low CG chassis positions weight low for aggressive handling. The wheelbase has been extended by 20mm for the perfect balance of stability and quick response. Brushless Velineon power flows through a larger Revo® spec slipper clutch and new extreme heavy-duty driveshafts to ensure performance and strength.

Self-righting The Rustler 4X4 VXL uses Traxxas patented Self-Righting feature to keep the fun going, even when you get carried away with the wheelies. Just push a button on the TQi transmitter and in most cases, the Rustler 4X4 VXL is back up and ready for more action in seconds!

Clipless Body Mounting Similar to the flagship E-Revo, the Rustler 4X4 VXL uses a clipless body locking system for secure mounting and quick, one-handed removal and installation. The sleek, aerodynamic body features a rugged internal structure and external rollover protection for long life and Traxxas-Tough durability.

Modular chassis The Rustler 4X4's all-new modular chassis features front and rear bulkheads that can be easily removed with just a few screws. In less than a minute with a screwdriver, you have full access for easy maintenance and customization.

Velineon 3500 motor A sensorless 3500 kV motor from Velineon provides extreme power with virtually maintenance-free operation. Ultra-high-temperature neodymium magnets, high-speed bearings and a precision 4-pole balanced rotor ensure smooth running and long life.

VXL-3s ESC The waterproof Velineon VXL-3s speed control is loaded with technology to deliver maximum performance. Large heat sink, integrated on/off switch and three programmable drive profiles round out the feature list. Two-stage low voltage detection allows for full LiPo compatibility, including powerful 11.1 volt 3S packs!

Waterproof receiver box The Rustler's innovative waterproof receiver box allows easy access to the receiver. The antenna and servo wires are routed through a patented waterproof seal to protect the receiver from water. No matter what the weather, Rustler 4X4 is ready to go!

5-Channel Receiver with Failsafe The TQi 2.4GHz receiver stores up to 30 Traxxas Link ™ capable transmitters in memory. Built-in telemetry ports allow real-time data to be transmitted from your Traxxas model to the TQi transmitter. In case of signal loss, the receiver automatically switches the throttle to neutral and holds the last control position.

New Talon EXT 2.8" tires and black chrome wheels The Rustler's large black chrome 2.8-inch wheels provide ground clearance and an impressive presence. Talon EXT tires have a square, aggressive tread design to dig into gravel, dirt and grass for incredible 4X4 traction.

Ultra Shocks Oil-filled Ultra Shocks use dual X-ring technology for a perfect seal and silky smooth performance. The large oil capacity and rugged design soaks up big jumps and off-road abuse for smooth driving performance. They are easy to tune with a wide selection of available oils, springs and pistons.

Single Worm Motor Access The innovative engine mount from the Rustler 4X4 holds the Velineon 3500 engine securely in place, yet lets you release it instantly with just one bolt. Gear adjustments are quick and easy.

Digital High-Torque Waterproof Steering Servo. The extreme speed and quick reflexes of the Rustler 4X4 require a steering servo that is both strong and fast. The included high-speed, high-torque digital servo features ball bearings for precise control and fast reflexes.

Revo-Spec Oil Filled Differentials Rustler 4X4 VXL's heavy-duty, oil-filled front and rear differentials use steel internal gears for maximum durability. Silicone seals and X-ring seals allow you to adjust the locking action by varying the viscosity of the fluid in the differentials.

New front and rear bumpers Rugged, reinforced bumpers protect the chassis from impacts. The specially designed front bumper provides a high angle of attack that allows the Rustler to easily negotiate obstacles. The rear bumper features a perfectly placed wheelie bar to prevent the Rustler 4X4 VXL from falling back from its explosive power.

Heavy-Duty Wishbones The new Heavy-Duty control arms are stronger than ever. Made from a tough new composite material, the arms stand up to the toughest riders and resist breaking for fun behind the wheel.

Extruded Aluminum Drive Shaft A one-piece extruded aluminum driveshaft is strong and lightweight. Internal splines fit directly onto the input shafts of the front and rear drive assemblies. All in all, this shaft runs straight for a smooth drivetrain.

Extreme Heavy-Duty Drive Shafts The extreme heavy-duty driveshafts from the Rustler 4X4 are modeled after the legendary Slash 4X4, but are even stronger in critical areas for unheard-of power delivery. The larger diameter half shafts offer the same articulation and suspension travel, but are designed for even greater tire shredding torque.

New Prographix body The aggressive ProGraphix body from the Rustler is ready cut out with decals already applied. Strong internal reinforcements keep the body stable, while roof skids provide rollover protection.

Functional rear wing The functional rear wing reduces drag while providing valuable downforce for high speed stability. The wing is attached directly to the inner reinforcements to ensure long life.

Wheelie Bar On a vehicle with the power and speed potential of the Rustler 4X4 VXL, a wheelie bar is an absolute necessity. The reinforced wheelie bar provides additional impact resistance for the bumper and also protects the wing.
