The Komodo is designed for scale performance and great looks with or without bodywork. The GS01 chassis with a new 4-link suspension system and a steel ladder C-channel frame makes for a great rig and scale finish. The steel has been nickel plated to prevent corrosion and looks great too! Next, add a dustproof receiver box that is molded to look like a real engine cover. The receiver box also provides a place to mount your controller to keep your rig looking clean.

To maximize performance, an adjustable battery tray provides the lowest possible center of gravity and allows you to use a variety of packs. The center skid plate is designed to run smoothly over any surface without getting stuck.

The 4-link suspension is designed to prevent twisting and provide an overall smoother motion feel. Along with the Gmade G-Transition shock absorbers, they help deliver power to the axles. A dust-proof gearbox is used, with a metal motor mount to keep everything precise, secure and running cool. The power is then transmitted to the axles with cardan shafts. To ensure there is no loss of power, each rolling component uses ball bearings. Where does all that power go? Paired with the MT-1903's off-road tires are NR02 1.9-inch beadlock wheels. This tire and wheel combination provides excellent traction in almost any environment.

As expected from Gmade, the Komodo is packed with scale features. The 1.5mm Lexan bodyoe, based on a standard pickup truck, is included. You can add your own color scheme along with a decal sheet for added styling. The body can be detailed with the included plastic parts; a grille, mirrors, wiper grille, door handles and front and rear bumpers. Gmade has also added value in the accessories department. The Komodo comes with a roof rack, bumper, snorkel, sand ladder, hook and shovel. This is truly the most realistic model!
