Orient Express Sleeping Car No. 3533 LX - 1929
This unique kit brings you aboard the legendary Orient Express. Inside the kit you will find the same atmosphere as in the real carriage. Upholstery, carpets and fabrics have been taken from original designs to ensure maximum accuracy. The 1:32 scale ensures that all details are reproduced with great care and the die-cast details together with photo engraving guarantee high quality. You can attach your car to another convoy.
The aluminum wheels and axles turn smoothly, but are not isolated. The roof can be removed for better viewing of the interior details and for installation of LEDs. The kit includes an MDF base plate and brass rails for perfect display. All parts of this kit have been tested and approved by the "Compagnie des Wagon-Lits".
The kit contains:
- Etched brass and die-cast brass car frames and bogies.
- Pre-cut acetate windows
- Decal sheet and adhesive strips to reproduce the original paint scheme
- Walnut and lime trim for the panels
- Car walls made of laser-cut birch plywood
- 6 technical plates
- 2 color plates to cover the seats and walls
- Assembly instructions in 2 volumes in color guide you through each step of construction
- Wall coverings and floor coverings are created using the original patterns and designs, and the interior is recreated from fine walnut and basswood moldings
The model that emerges from the kit needs no comparison with the original. Even the smallest details made of high quality materials have been thought of in the kit from AMATI. Even a piece of rail to put the floor model in the right "light" was thought of.
The bogie is assembled from many precise metal parts. The detailed illustrated instructions explain the assembly step by step.
