Eagle 1:24 Locomotive Kit

Switch off from everyday life with this creative form of recreation and take a trip back in time with our train kits.

This locomotive was built by Robert Stephenson & Co. in Newcastle, England. From there, it was transported in its component parts to the port of Rotterdam and shipped across the Rhine to Cologne, then laboriously brought overland to Nuremberg. Once at its destination, the locomotive was then assembled in the workshops of Johann Wilhelm Spaeth's machine factory. The wooden carriages were manufactured directly on site.

On December 7, 1835, it made its first trip on the Ludwigsbahn from Fürth to Nuremberg (6.04 km).
