The Mississippi is a particularly successful replica of this famous steamship era between 1870 and 1920. With a length of 1050 mm, a particularly impressive model is created here, which can also be made floatable by experienced model builders. However, the extremely flat hulls of these ships and the very high superstructures always have a center of gravity problem, so it is recommended to provide the model with a removable keel.

Everything has been thought of for the construction of this "Southern Comfort" classic. All wooden parts are carefully laser cut, which is a huge advantage especially for the elaborate ornamental parts on the wheelhouse roof and for the railing. The paddlewheel disks are also finished cut out. All planking strips for hull and decks as well as all wood and metal fittings are included in the kit.
