Kavan KAV56.9978.DE PRO Activator for superglue 200ml

Activator/accelerator for instant adhesives (cyanoacrylate adhesives) in aerosol packaging with a reduced content of hazardous substances. It is used to accelerate the curing of instant adhesives in conditions unfavorable for their natural curing (by reaction with air humidity or water in glued parts), in dry environments, in the cold, when gluing inactive materials or when applying a thick layer of adhesive. The product contains its own component that activates the polymerization of the instant adhesive, solvent and propellant gas (propane / butane). For this reason, it must not be used for bonding materials that are not resistant to organic solvents (e.g. foamed polystyrene).

Application: The activator is applied to clean and dry surfaces from a distance of 20-25 cm. The optimum working temperature range is between + 10 °C and + 30 °C. It can be applied in two basic ways:

Small parts: Apply the activator to a surface to be bonded and allow it to dry (it remains active for several hours). Then apply the superglue to the second contact surface and assemble the parts. Large parts: Apply the superglue to one contact surface, press the parts together and spray the joint with an activator. Suitable for: Superglue for bonding materials that are resistant to organic solvents.

Unsuitable for: foamed polystyrene and other materials that are not resistant to organic solvents or increased temperature (accelerated polymerization of the adhesive can release a considerable amount of heat, which leads to heating of the bonded joint and its surroundings - the greater the amount of adhesive used).

Storage: In tightly closed packaging, cool, dry and dark (at temperatures between + 5 °C and + 25 °C). Do not expose the product to temperatures below + 2 °C.

Shelf life: If the conditions for proper storage are observed, we guarantee the shelf life in the unopened original packaging for a period of 1 year while maintaining the above-mentioned product properties.
